Expired Unpacking Passport to Social Studies Grade 12 Economics

Join the Department of Social Studies and Civics and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to become familiar with the Passport to Social Studies grade 12 Economics curriculum and resources from the New York Fed Economic Education team to support your students. If you’re unfamiliar, Passport to Social Studies was designed by New York City public school educators and experts and incorporates principles of quality social studies instruction, diversity and multiple perspectives, and the importance of inquiry with the objective of preparing students for a global community. It is the only comprehensive K-12 curriculum developed by New York City teachers for NYC classrooms.

Attendees of this full day, in-person workshop at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on December 14, 2023 from 9:30am to 3:30pm will receive hard copies of the Passport to Social Studies Grade 12 Economics Unit 1 and it’s accompanying comic book, “What’s the Case, K.C.?” We’ll tour the New York Fed’s Museum and Learning Center, see some amazing resources and program opportunities for our students, and have ample time to plan for our classrooms.

Important notes before registering: to enter the Federal Reserve Bank of New York you will need your unexpired physical state or federal identification.
